What We Do

NPF works within the Naperville community to provide resources and programs that support the NPD. We focus solely on performance development and do not contribute to Department salaries, pensions, overtime, or items that would be covered under the city budget.

Mission Statement

The Naperville Police Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) non-partisan organization dedicated to nurturing public safety throughout the Naperville community via ancillary support of the Naperville Police Department. NPF aims to facilitate the advancement of NPD’s needs such as equipment & technology, specialty training, collaborative community initiatives, and wellness programs for officers and their families.

Latest Events

National Police Week is scheduled for May 9-15 this year. Peace Officers Memorial Day, to honor law enforcement officers those who have lost their lives, will be on Saturday, May 15. The Naperville Police Department will be holding its annual observance on Friday, May 14, 10:00 AM at the Public safety Wall outside the station.

Invites have been sent to available staff members, NPD chaplains, the mayor, council members, city department leaders and police affiliated board and commission members which now includes the Naperville Police Foundation.
